A way to maintain a healthy mind and body can be encouraged through prenatal yoga. It focuses on poses specific for pregnancy and labour encouraging and inviting in strength and flexibility. It can also help to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques that will aid through the labour and the birthing journey.
Through movement, asana, meditation, and various breathing techniques, this prenatal class will offer a safe, supportive, community, and inclusive environment to help recalibrate the nervous system, find fluidity in the body, preparing the mind and the body for birth and motherhood.
Modifications will be offered to accommodate and honour the changes and the 'new normals' that are continuously happening within the body.
